Description

Since 1991, Luxembourg has a fleet of ocean-going vessels. This diversified merchant fleet includes all types of cargo vessels, as well as dredging ships, passenger ships and commercial cruise ships. The Cluster maritime luxembourgeois brings together actors in the field to strengthen and develop the sector.

General Activities

The aim of the Cluster is to contribute to the development of the maritime sector as well as related services through the implementation of communication and promotion strategies in Luxembourg and abroad. Related services include transport, logistics and consulting services as well as financial services and other services that are linked to maritime activities or to the actors involved in this sector.

Members

The Cluster regroups around 50 companies involved in or supporting the maritime sector. The full list of members is available here.

Specific Actions

The specific actions of the Cluster are to:

  • contribute to the development of the maritime sector and associated services;
  • observe and analyse legal and economic issues as well as other related topics;
  • inform and exchange through networking and thematic meetings;
  • represent the sector and participate in relevant events and discussions.
